33 attended · 1 guestThe 6/23 Action Long Island (ALI) Strategy Meeting focusing on development plans for downtown Melville was an overwhelming success. Action Long Island (ALI) and the many involved participants at the recent ALI Strategy Meeting looking into the development plans for downtown Melville recognized that energy supply is a vital component.
Federal, State and local officials were represented alongside NYPA, organized labor, small and large businesses, educators, and other organizations. The consensus was that we must go forward with this mission and ALI will now have a meeting with NYPA and NY Transco looking into the Propel NY project.
This next Strategy Meeting will be open to the media and all who want to participate in Long Island's energy future.
